President Joel Dean has over 20 years of experience in building and managing architectural and interior design build-outs and renovations.

Most recently operating Dean & Silva LLC, Joel is a proven industry leader who guarantees his specialized team will deliver an expert level of quality paired with courteous client services. DFB strives to exceed the expectations of clients, designers, and architects.

JOEL DEAN, President
Joel Dean is a hands-on business owner with over 20 years of experience.  He is involved in the details of every project from start to finish. He has a talent for translating traditional and modern designs and making them a reality. With his love for design and knowledge of all trades, Joel is the ideal leader to guide his team and bring a client or designer’s vision to life.  As the founder of Dean & Silva in 2004, he has completed an impressive roster of published homes and commercial projects.

Heath Robinson, Senior Project Manager
Heath has been an essential and invaluable member of our team since 2008.  He brings a knowledge of finishes, an eye for quality, and a knack for efficient and effective management to our operations.  Heath was previously the owner of a high-end NYC painting and carpentry company.  Before that, Heath imbued his wisdom by teaching high school math, and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from St. Michael’s College in Vermont.

Trish Phelps, Director of Business Operations
With a background in the Arts and Hospitality, Trish has been integral in tending to the ecosystem of our business: human relations, business operations, accounting & management, marketing, and the overall spreading of good vibes. Trish Phelps joined our team in 2012, and is proud to continue forwarding the standard of high quality work and happy people.

Rick Walker, Project Supervisor
Rick has over 20 years of hands on experience in building and managing projects in the high-end construction industry. Rick brings his extensive knowledge of hardware, doors, millwork and carpentry, and the mechanics of putting it all together to our team since 2017.

Carlos Gonzalez, Project Supervisor
Carlos joined our team in 2014. With a background in civil construction, Carlos was drawn to interior construction where he excelled in problem solving, calmly managing many moving parts, and applying great attention to quality. Carlos continues to bring his great skills and positive attitude to our team and projects.
